I don’t have time to write much about this…but unfortunately I don’t even want to…because for me it was just: “eh”

This film is about a man who signs up for a clinical trail to take a pill that will supposedly make him feel “special” (aka, it’s an anti-depressent, but this one is different from all the rest…) The man, “Les”, soon believes the pill has given him superpowers. Have I given you enough reason to watch this yet? No, well…the reason I loved this movie so much is: I know for a fact that I would have the same exact reaction to the pills because all I ever think about is how awesome it’d be to have superpowers. Oh, and Michael Rapaport absolutely KILLS IT in this film. I personally have never seen a better acting job from him before. Still not enough for you to put this in your queue?! Ok, here’s my final bargaining chip: Josh Peck from Drake & Josh is in it!!!

I liked it…in fact, I like most movies like this one (e.g. - Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). But I just don’t love them enough to care too much. That make sense? It really is a great movie, but I just couldn’t get too into it. Maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood to truly appreciate it…

Heavy. But beautifully done. No matter if you’ve ever thought about suicide or not, I highly recommend this film. Incredibly tragic, but that’s life right? You can’t have the good w/o the bad… Some stories in this movie will uplift your spirit, but most will break your heart. But even for people that have never considered taking their own life, this film is eye-opening. So again, please watch this amazing movie, but you definitely have to be prepared for it.

Loved it…such a magical, creative, & gorgeous movie. While watching this I realized I should be watching more anime because I’m pretty sure I’d thoroughly enjoy it.

Ryan Reynolds & Denzel Washington…”safe” bet right ;-) yes, correct, the answer is yes. Not the greatest movie of all time or anything like that, just a really well done action/spy movie that I was not upset about spending money on it to see it in the theater. To sum up, I’ll use 2 words: Effing intense! …or 3, depending on where your mind is at ;-)

I will enjoy anything and everything WIll Ferrell does, so the fact that I love this movie is 100% bias. That being said, I still recommend this movie based on the fact that it’s a good, clever, funny, depressing, (and then) feel good movie! It’s a great movie about life & it’s frustrations/ugliness…and at the same time, the silver linings :-)

Funny…not great…but entertaining. They bank on Pineapple Express type humor (which I’m completely fine with), but it just doesn’t hit like it should. I laughed enough, but wanted to laugh so much more (and it really did have the potential to be able to do so)!

By now, you probably know that I’m a pretty big baby (aka - hopeless romantic), so that being said, I LOVED THIS FILM! Quirky, creative, original, funny, sad, frustrating, & intriguing…this movie is now a new favorite of mine! Also, Vincent D’onofrio plays his character amazingly, this has to be my most favorite thing he’s ever done (tied with Men In Black of course)! Also, if you like(d) this…(or even if you didn’t), you should watch the movie: “TiMER" - the feelings both films make you experience are equally happy & frustrating (C’est la vie)…

I didn’t know how I would like 007 & Aslan playing cowboys…turns out they can play the western part just as good as their other notables! Good movie…if you like westerns, you’ll like this movie. And, even if you don’t like westerns (I watched this with my fam, & my mom hates westerns, but she liked this), you might like it! Decent film, worth the watch.

Like blessedarethegeek  said, “Good luck with that one.” And he’s right…one does have to have an internal conversation w/ themselves before even starting this film. Red State’s an insanely frustrating film…and at the same time, an insanely well done film! I know a lot of people that didn’t like this movie (for whatever reason they have) and I can completely understand. But personally, I thoroughly enjoy a movie that challenges me on different levels (e.g.-belief system, political, personal, etc). Bravo Kevin Smith, for making a great movie that gets people talking about how uncomfortable it makes them! Seriously though…I’m serious…Bravo, I liked it.

Extremely raunchy, foul-mouthed, plenty of nudity, and amazing hilarious! I laughed out loud almost too much while watching this. Jason Bateman & Ryan Reynolds were perfect together! A good R-rated comedy worth the watch!

I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into watching this movie… And I ended up really enjoying it! Honestly, if I talk to much about what I liked in the movie, it’ll give it all away. SO instead, I shall use the words of the all-knowing-Jenn: "ooh, I’ll be interested to know what you think, after I watched, I wasn’t sure I existed."

Aside from some absolutely gorgeous movie posters (examples: 12, & 3), this movie’s pretty subpar. Not that I’m surprised by that, nor is a horrible movie. The acting’s pretty flakey in some parts, & all together the story feels super rushed. The action though, is actually pretty good! So let that be a silver lining I guess, it’s an alright fun action movie that I would’ve been disappointed in seeing in the theaters, but didn’t mind it too much because I watched it for free at home!

Seriously eye-opening…! I mean, I’ve always had had my problems w/ censorship, & the bodies of people who make the decisions, and this documentary has only added to my negative thoughts about them. Now especially the MPAA, the process in which films are rated is insanely shady. Anyways, if you’re able to watch this movie…I highly recommend it, very informative!
