Weekend Remix: After Hours On Omega

Original Composer: Jack WallThis week we’re making a trip back to Omega for a little intergalactic space club dancing. Many of you are probably still flying through Mass Effect 3, so this week I figured our remix should stem from the series or specifically, Mass Effect 2.
One of the coolest areas to explore in that game had to be the world of Omega. This place did everything right to re-imagine what a somewhat seedy urban area would look like in a futuristic space setting. The developers really enforced this idea thanks to the club Afterlife, where dancing patrons and thumping techno music offered a sci-fi party that never ended.
VGAnxiety’s remix doesn’t deter from that feeling. In fact, it’s safe to say that his particular mix of the original would fit perfectly within the game. Instead of the soundtrack to a laid back space bar, you’re treated to a mid-tempo techno take that seems perfectly bred for the title.

With the release of Mass Effect 3 happening in March…I’ve decided to replay ME1 & ME2…all over, with a completely new character. Needless to say, I am geeking out right now because hopefully, if I time it right, I’ll be intensely refreshed and ready to go for ME3 on March 6th!
This’ll be my 4th time playing ME1…I played once as a male “Spacer-War Hero Vanguard”, another time as a male “Spacer-Ruthless-Soldier”, & also as a female “Colonist-Sole Survivor-Engineer”…now I shall be playing as a:
