Escape from L.A.

I love this horrible movie! I actually liked it better than Escape from New York, but not because it’s tenfolds better, I just think it’s a little more comical…& because I liked being able to know exactly where Snake Plissken was in LA whenever they mentioned location (since I used to live out there). Oh, and also…this movie isn’t really all that far fetched…a mega-earthquake could happen any moment out there! AND…the president in the movie reminds me a lot of Newt & Willard (Mitt) Romney ;-)

Movie Trailer of the Day: First official trailer for the Luc Besson-produced sci-fi retelling of Escape from L.A., Lockout.

The film, which stars Maggie Grace, Peter Stormare, and Guy Pearce as ~~Snake~~ Snow, is set to open in theaters April 20th.

Remember that one time I said that I couldn’t help thinking they’d remake Escape from New York…? I honestly had no idea this movie was in the works, haha, so I guess I better watch Escape from L.A. just so I’m up to speed (don’t worry, I just bumped it to the top of my netflix DVD queue)!
